Actress Amanda Bynes has distances herself from controversial and racist insults made against Rihanna by claiming they were fake.
Over the weekend, there was an online furore amid the appearance of offensive tweets made by the former Nickleodeon star against the 'Diamonds' singer.
Now, Bynes denies making the tweets, writing: "I saw a bunch of mocked up tweets about me bashing Rihanna in my mentions. I'm followed by so many people that someone is always mocking up fake tweets so I feel the need to address them!"
The 27-year-old Bynes went on to add that she was sure the pair would "be in a music video together one day", before taking a dig at Ri Ri by asking "Why does Rihanna smoke weed and not get in trouble for it?"
She then confusingly continued: "Thankfully, I'm an educated multi-millionaire."

The pair, who were once friends, came to blows when the 27-year-old former Disney star Bynes seemingly took to the social network to make racist claims about Rihanna's appearance and her spat with Chris Brown.
Amanda wrote: “Rihanna you look so ugly tryin to be white.” She continued: ’"Chris Brown beat you because you’re not pretty enough,” before retweeting a post from Rihanna which read: “Look who came to see me!! My lover Stella McCartney!!!” before she replied: “No one wants to be your lover so you call everyone and their mother that I almost named my new dog Rihanna.”
Moments later, Rihanna responded: “Ya see what happens when they cancel Intervention?” The row culminated in Amanda adding: “Unlike ur fugly faced self I don't do drugs! U need the intervention dog! I met ur ugly face in person! U aren't pretty u know it!”
