Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher has once again spoken out in favour of One Direction - claiming that the X Factor act are his 'biggest competition.
In an interview with BBC News, Gallagher said he admired 1D's spirit and said that they were "mad for it".
When asked who he thought his biggest competition was, Gallagher responded "One Direction", before adding that he was not "into their music".
Gallagher continued: "Fair play to them, man, they got lucky - like we all do, I guess - and they're just going for it.
"That's what it's all about, innit? It's all going to end at some point. And when it ends, you want to make sure you've ticked all the boxes."

Last week, Gallagher also shocked fans by coming out to admit that Beady Eye were set to perform on the next series of X Factor.
