If Daft Punk's Random Access Memories didn't have enough vocoder on it for your liking, then the new Royksopp track is exactly what you've been waiting for. Listen to 'Daddy's Groove' below.
The Norwegian band recorded the track for their addition to the long running Late Night Tales compilation series, on which the band who have chosen the tracks for the release will record a new song. 'Daddy's Groove' is a laid-back track, with echoes of the laid-back seventies vibe heard on Random Access Memories.
Rokysopp's Late Night Tales collection is released on 16 June 2013 and features tracks from Rare Bird, Little River Band, John Martyn, Richard Schneider Jnr, Andreas Vollenweider XTC, Thomas Dolby and Vangelis - as well as Royksopp's cover of Depeche Mode's 'Ice Machine', with Susanne Sundfor on vocals.
