Ellie Goulding has recorded a cover of Alt-J's 'Tessalte', from their award winning album, An Awesome Wave. Listen to her cover below.
Goulding's version is a simple, electronic track, with few instruments which keeps the focus on her distinctive vocals. It reworks the rhythm making it something very different to the original- and listeners seem to be loving it so far. There's also a beautiful saxophone solo about halfway through.
The track has been produced by Xaphoon Jones, who has worked with Goulding on other songs, such as 'High For This' by The Weeknd, which she covered earlier in the year.

Alt J's original was the third single taken from his Brit Nominated 2012 Studio Album An Awesome Wave and peaked at No.6 on the UK Indie Chart when it was released.
It's been previously covered by Mumford and Sons, and now Ellie Goulding. An Awesome Wave won the Mercury Prize, and Album of the Year at Radio 6, and at The Ivor Awards.
See how her version of Tessellate compares to the original below.
Goulding is set to play at Chime for Change at Twickenham Stadium this weekend, alongside a line up including the likes of Beyonce, Florence Welch, and Madonna.
