Australian teen band San Cisco have covered the biggest song of 2013, performing Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' in an exclusive session for radio station Triple J. Watch it below.
The four-piece have been making waves in Australia and beyond, with their breezy pop sounds, and added their own distinct sounds to the international smash hit in a recording for Triple J's Like A Version covers show.
San Cisco release their new single, 'Awkward' on 29 July, which has already been a huge hit in their homeland. Speaking to Gigwise in 2012 about the track, the band admitted they never realised how big a hit the track would become.
"We wrote it and I didn’t personally think it was very special, but our managers did," said Jordi in an interview with Gigwise. "They gave it out to all the radio stations, and then it just completely blew up. That’s when we realised how good it was probably. While we were writing it though I just felt like it was an ordinary pop song."
