Swedish DJ Alesso has announced that he's recorded a track with Calvin Harris and Hurts singer Theo Hutchcraft.

Posting on his Twitter account, the DJ said that he, Harris and Hutchcraft are recording a track together, that is reportedly sounding 'big'.

Harris confirmed this later, adding: "He's not lying." This turned into a bit of a chain reply with Hutchcraft responding adding "They're not lying" to his retweet.

Rising to fame in 2011 with a series of successful remixes, Alesso was named one to watch in 2012 by MTV. Earlier this year he played sell-out gigs in Manchester, and Glasgow, as well as been successful with remixes, as well as his own tracks. However, he insists that his sound is "still evolving."

Noteable remixes include  Nadia Ali's Pressure, David Guetta's Titanium, and Keane's Silenced by the Night.

His most recent remix is of  One Republic's 'If I lose Myself' . It has over a million listens on Sound Cloud and can be watched  below.

Calvin Harris recently said that he was working on some 'good music' that "won't get into the charts."
