Liam Gallagher has said, 'f**k you!' to fans who have chosen to boycott any Beady Eye music because 'it ain't Oasis'.

The Beady Eye frontman feels certain fans will never accept any new music he produces because of their love for his former band.

Speaking to The Quietus, Gallagher said: "We've made a great rock and roll album but sometimes I feel there’s a lot of people just f**king boycotting what Beady Eye do just for some stupid f**king reason.

"We'll boycott that s**t no matter what they do because it ain't Oasis and we want Oasis' and all that kind of thing. Well f**k you! We've experimented or whatever it is, what more do you f**king want?"

Gallagher seemed to be on the defensive as he went on to explain that he has put more effort into Beady Eye than any of his previous music projects.

He added: "It's certainly not a f**king hobby. I've put more hours into this than I have into Oasis and I put a lot into that."

The Manchester singer also explained why he has introduced Oasis songs into the Beady Eye sets, saying, "I f**king sung on them. I made them. I didn't write them but they're a part of my f**king life. I f**king brought them up and I've got every right to sing them".

Beady Eye are set to release their second studio album on June 10, 2013 and have a mini-tour scheduled for June which will include performances in Manchester, London, Glasgow as well as several festival performances.
