The ‘Grown Woman’ star performed a collection of her greatest hits and was reduced to tears during a rendition of ‘At Last’ by Etta James.
Rapper Jay-Z then joined her on stage to perform a duet of ‘Crazy In Love’ with Bey, a song which defined the earliest stages of their relationship to many of the couple’s fans.
Beyonce even lifted her ban on photographers for the special event last night. The restrictions had been put in place by Beyonce’s people after unflattering pictures of her surfaced on the internet after her Super Bowl performance.
The Independent reports that the singer's reps agreed with Chime For Change organisers to allow 15 agency photographers take pictures or her.
