A Norwegian Beyonce fan claims that she confirmed a November release date of her hugely anticipated fifth album, after meeting the superstar at a gig.

The fan was quizzed about her encounter with Beyonce in the Norwegian press, stating that she asked the 'Single Ladies' superstar about her release plans at a meet and greet event in Norway.

"Everything went so fast that I could only say that I love 'Grown Woman' and ask her when her album is coming," said Olivia Krantz in an interview after the session. "'In November' was her answer before her gaze drifted to the next fan. Got a faint feeling that she disliked the question."

She also said that Beyonce seemed 'aloof' at the fan event, despite remaining friendly with the 20 'hysterical' fans she met at the event.

"She was very friendly and polite, everyone hugged, held on the fans who cried a little extra, answered questions and said 'so many beautiful women' with a dazzling white smile as we entered. But she felt very aloof," added Krantz, in the interview, translated from Norwegian.
