'212' rapper Azealia Banks is back to business on Twitter, launching a scathing attack against gay and lesbian organistation GLAAD after what she sees as victimisation from the group.

Banks had been previously criticised by the organisation after a vicious war of words with US blogger Perez Hilton, during which she called him a 'messy faggot' and urged him to kill himself. Now, the rapper has hit out at GLAAD for not speaking out against other stars who have used the same expression, accusing them of being 'media whores'.

"Where are the real LGBTQ organizations at? The real ones, that REALLY help the youth?" asked an angry Azealia. "@Glaad you guys are media whores, and don't stand for anything real. Your organization has no integrity and therefore no real voice."

"@Glaad cute how you guys pick and choose when to be upset about something," she added. "I've seen about five other celebrities use the word faggot since I did... Not a word from any of you."

Azealia Banks sent the tweets on Sunday, 2 May 2013

In April 2013, it was believed that Banks would no longer be permitted to use her Twitter account, after a number of high profile arguements with other users.

"My days of twitter terror are about to be over,” she posted in April, 2013. “I have to turn over my password."
