John Newman, best known for his work with Rudimental and a recently blossoming solo career has revealed his ambition to write with Adele on her next album.

Newman, 22, announced his aims to write for the 'Rolling In The Deep' singer in a recent interview.

Speaking to Gigwise, he said: "I would really, really, really like to do some writing for the next Adele album, because I just like her music so much."

Adele wasn't the only person the 'Not Giving In' singer announced he was a fan of, revealing Emile Sande, Naughty Boy and Kid Harpoon were also among his dream collaborations.

Stepping out of the guest-spotlight, Newman is currently promoting his debut single 'Love Me Again', which offsets elements of soul and motown with a huge modern beat for one of the strongest breakthrough singles of 2013 so far, championed by BBC Radio 1 among others.

The world is currently awaiting Adele's third album, although any news on a follow up to the critically acclaimed '21' is currently unclear after the singer gave birth to her first child in October 2012.

John Newman will play his debut solo headline show at The Lexington in London in July, and will also be playing Secret Garden Party, T In The Park, and V Festival this summer, along with some appearances with Rudimental.
