DJ Fresh has worked with scientists and physically paralysed musicians to create a charity single made with pioneering brainwave technology.
The 'Mindtunes' project, in association with Smirnoff, enables disabled musicians to create material without the need to control physical instruments, as brainwaves and emotions are turned into beats using an ElectroEncephaloGraphy (EEG) device.
DJ Fresh, best known for his hits 'Hot Right Now', and 'Louder' came out in high praise of the project.
"Ever since I was a little boy I’ve loved technology and always wanted to work with something cutting edge," he said. "What a privilege to be given the opportunity to do just that and collaborate with some truly inspirational people
"I am very proud to be part of this project – it just goes to show what people have the power to create if they’re given the opportunity”.

Proceeds from single sales will go straight to the Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People (QEF).
