The National welcomed St Vincent on stage during a hometown show in Brooklyn to perform 'This Is The Last Time'. Watch footage of the collaboration below.

Fellow Brooklynite Annie Clarke of St Vincent, a long-time friend and collaborator of The National, came on stage at the band's sold-out show at The Barclay's Centre to perform the track taken from their latest LP Trouble Will Find Me.

The track is one of the strongest on the album. Reviewing the song in our track by track guide, we said: "'Oh, when I lift you up you feel like a hundred times yourself – I wish everybody knew what’s so great about you,' runs the chorus, drenched in melancholic melody and cutting to the core of the essence of the album: running on romance and high on heartache. Buttery, velvet tones collide to perfect the art of the gradual but almighty crescendo."

Trouble Will Find Me is the band's best-selling album to date, reaching No.3 in the UK album chart.

St Vincent teams up again with David Byrne to perform their own tracks along with material from their Love This Giant album with UK dates and an appearance at End of the Road festival this summer.

The National also have a string of UK dates in the winter.
