Thom Yorke has unveiled new track 'Honey Pot' which he admits turned into a new song after originally being planned as a remix of Radiohead's 'All I Need'. Listen to the track below.
Yorke and Nigel Goldrich dropped the new song whilst performing a live DJ set for Southern California radio station KCRW and promoting the debut Atoms For Peace album, Amok.
Before 'Honey Pot' kicks in, Yorke tells the listeners, "This is a remix of ‘All I Need’ that turned into a new song that no one’s ever heard and we didn’t know what to do with."
The track features Yorke's typically haunting vocals alongside an accustomed Atoms For Peace down-tempo drone sound and electonic vibe.
The Atoms For Peace pair jokingly referred to their DJ set as 'chaos', but Calfornian fans were treated to the likes of Beastie Boys, Joe Jackson, Madvillain and Charles Mingus during the hour-long slot.
