Green Day closed the Rock am Roll festival in Nurburgring Germany this weekend. Watch their full set below.
The vetran punk rock trio played to an enthusiastic crowd as part of a stellar line up for the weekend festival. The Seat Centre Stage upon which they played also featured Imagine Dragons, Simple Plan, Prodigy and 30 Seconds to Mars.
They played a 90 minute set, covering the highlights of their extensive discography.
Their enthusiastic performance kicked off with the theme music of The Good, the Bad, and The Ugly, which fans engaged with, before launching into their own songs. Their set started with '99 Revolutions', and featured other big hits 'American Idiot', 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams', 'Basket Case' and 'Waitin'g amongst others. They closed their energetic set with 'Good Riddance (Time of Your Life.)'
The band also invited two fans up to the stage to sing with them for 'Longview' and 'Know Your Enemy'.

The band can still play an impressive live show, having recently broken attendence records when they played to a 60,000 strong crowd at the Emirates Stadium at the beginning of this month. Read our review of the show here.
The band are playing at Reading and Leeds festival in August, for which they have in the past said they were "nervous" however perhaps less so after several successful shows.
