The Killers, The Stone Roses and Bon Jovi are all set to headline this weekend's Isle of Wight Festival - and fortunately, the weather is looking promising.

Bloc Party, The Maccabees, Ghostpoet, Jaguar Skills, Paul Weller, Jake Bugg, Bastille, Everything Everything, Laura Mvula, Sub Focus, Blondie, I Am Kloot and The Happy Mondays are also set to appear across the weekend, and it looks like the wet weather might just hold off.

The Met Office forecast for the weekend at Newport on the Isle of Wight is:

Friday 14 June: Cloudy throughout the day with sunny intervals and a high of 15°C

Saturday 15 June: Cloudy with occasional light rain and potentially sunny intervals, with a highof 15°C

Sunday 16 June: Light rain showers, some sun and a potential high of 19°C

The Stone Roses will be headlining the Isle of Wight Festival this weekend

The forecast is much more promising than that of Download festival, which takes place at the same time at Donington Park.

Isle of Wight Festival takes place from 13 - 16 June, 2013, at Seaclose Park in Newport on the Isle of Wight.
