Liam Gallagher says he 'would love' to see The Smiths band members, notably Morrisey and Johnny Marr, drop their feud and tour again.
In an interview with GQ magazine, he said that the Manchester foursome "have got a lot of tunes" and they deserve to be heard live again.
The Manchester native went on to say he remembered when the band broke up, "People were proper running around like headless chickens in Manchester".
The Smiths broke up in 1987 and despite a constant rumour mill that the band will get back together, for instance if the Coalition government breaks up, representatives for both Morrisey and Marr have said it's never going to happen.
Marr even told NPR.org that: "Life doesn't need that [a Smiths reunion] to happen to be okay".

Looks like the Beady Eye frontman will just have to keep dreaming of a live performance of 'There is a Light that Never Goes Out'.
