Kanye West's eagerly awaited Yeezus album has unsurprisingly been leaked after a "no strategy" approach from his record label, but has failed to impress the masses and has received extremely mixed reviews from fans.

The record is set for release on June 18, but has become available online as West revealed, "the album is all about giving" and allowed attendees of the New York Yeezus launch party to record the new tracks with mobile phones.

Yeezus was the hot topic across Twitter throughout the night with the majority of listeners struggling to enjoy the album.

Twitter user @Sarahgotsell wrote: "#yeezus.. what am I listening too.. I'm hoping that kanye has some sort of stage production to accompany this.. might make more sense.."

Whilst @Jamesdickinson believes, "Yeezus is another example of Kanye’s typically arrogant and overhyped brand of sub‐literate vapidity, not of good lyricism or production."

However, with West's new album still expected to sell around 500,000 copies after its first week of official release, some fans couldn't be happier with the rapper's aggressive new outlook on life.

@Alexpoole118 wrote: "Kanye West "Yeezus" album has to be the album of the year. Absolute genius!"

@SizThePilot took to Twitter to praise West for producing a 'revolutionary' new album, writing "Kanye West's music keeps evolving.. #Yeezus is revolutionary! - Tuesday I'm buying this and #BornSinner for sure!"
