"London... We are just getting started!" Surrounded by fire and rocking out at Twickenham, Rihanna took to the stage with a statement of intent. Having completed seven albums in seven years, there was certainly a great deal of hits to choose from and the Barbadian native delivered from start to finish.

Following David Guetta’s supporting set, Rihanna certainly didn’t fail to continue the party he had begun. A number of short costume changes, all centred on the necessary thigh-high boot and tight crop-top combination did not distract, and were the downtime and break necessary before the dancing started again.

After announcing that her family were in the audience, Ri-Ri performed in true style, with plenty of crotch grabbing and strong swearing that would have the mothers present covering their young daughters' eyes and ears - and every young fan there clamouring for more.

Kick starting with tracks from her more recent albums, Rihanna emerged to ‘Phresh Out the Runway,’ ‘Birthday Cake,’ and ‘Talk That Talk,’ the opening numbers in a strong repertoire.

Rihanna's Twickenham show wasn't necessarily suitable for fans of all ages...

Rihanna bravely took time to swiftly apologise for her impact on the British weather before the infamous beat began to her treasured 'Umbrella'. However it was soon clear that all was forgiven as the 55,000 strong crowd danced in awe; this being the exciting and thrilling atmosphere that was to be enjoyed for the rest of the night.

By the time the night reached ‘We Found Love’ the stadium was electric and so was she. With an impressive set of dancers and musicians to an arts backdrop of video montage, plus black and white shots, Rihanna's energy did not falter.

An evening that had seemed to start as a family affair certainly ended as one. Just when we thought the party was over, Rihanna returned to deliver an impeccable performance of 'Stay' before declaring we were all ‘Diamonds in the sky,’ and dedicating her final song to her father for Fathers Day.

With the stadium seemingly lit as a starry sky, Ri-Ri left us to a parade of fireworks, promising to return again and an unfaltering performance etched in everyone's minds.
