A Stone Roses fan has died after collapsing at their gig on Glasgow Green on Saturday (15 June).
A 24-year-old woman was attended by paramedics and was pronounced dead at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
A police spokesman said: "Just after 9pm, we received a report that a 24-year-old woman had fallen. A post-mortem will be carried out in due course to establish circumstances of the death."
While officials say that foul play was not a factor in the young woman's death, the gig was not without trouble. Around 24 ticket-holders were said to have been arrested for drug and anti-social behaviour offences.
Speaking to The Daily Record, gig-goer Alison Davidson said that she was hit in the head by a glass bottle during the show: "There was blood everywhere. Security at the gig was absolutely shocking, no bags were being searched on the way in."
Tragedy struck when a 24-year-old woman died at a Stone Roses gig
This has not the first time that tragedy has struck at a Stone Roses gig. In July 2012, Christopher Brahney, 22, was found in the Manchester Ship Canal 10 days after he disappeared from the band's comeback show at Heaton Park.
