Sigur Rós have announced that they will be streaming a special interative gig live from Dresden tonight (Wednesday 19 June). Watch a trailer for the event below.

To celebrate the release of Kveikur, the band are giving fans the chance to take control of the 360 cameras that will be placed around the stage, and watch the show from whichever angle they choose.

A band spokesman said: "The webcast will see Sigur Rós performing 5 tracks from Kveikur and will feature a series of firsts.

"This will be the first time ever Sigur Rós have performed current single ‘Isjaki’ live. It will also be the first time most of these songs have been officially broadcast live in any form, the band previously having performed only the album’s title track in front of the cameras (on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon shows). And of course, it will be the first time fans have had access to this level of viewer interaction during a filmed Sigur Rós live performance."
