The Neptunes and N.E.R.D. star posted a photo of the pair together on his official Facebook page, along with the hashtag '#MagnaCartaHolyGrail'.
The image could also be related to photos from last month when it emerged that Justin Timberlake has been working in the studio with Pharrell Williams, Nas and Jay-Z after Pharrell posted the first Instagram photo of the collaboration with the words "Me and my boy Justin," before Roc Nation A & R man Lenny Santiago revealed another image featuring Timerblake, Williams, Jay-Z and Nas. Santiago posted: "JAY x JT x NAS x TIMBO Rat Pack s***. For some this is 'Work'... For us it's just Fun. #RocNation."

Earlier this week, Jay-Z announced details of his new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, which will be released on 4 July 2013.
Aleady in 2013, Jay-Z acted as executive producer on the Great Gatsby movie soundtrack, curating tracks from the likes of Lana Del Rey, Emeli Sande and wife Beyonce for the film adaptation. It was also recently revealed that Jay-Z's biggest hits would be turned into lullabies for a new collection for children.
Additionally, a new photo recently showed Jay-Z in a US recording studio with Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams and Nas working on an as-yet untitled project.
