The weather forecast for Glastonbury festival 2013 is improving, with experts now predicting sunshine and warm conditions rather than wind and rain.
While there is no guarantee of sunshine or that the Somerset festival with stay dry, The Guardian reports that meteorologists remain optimistic.
Moderate rain is predicted at the Glastonbury site in the course of the next week, with a little more expected on Thursday before drying up in the days leading to Sunday. Weather Outlook, Accuweather and Jackone at Netweather agree that this year's bash will be mostly sunny, with daytime temperatures around 19C.
With a small drizzle of rain predicted on Thursday and Sunday, but "most (simulation) runs are positive", Jackone announced. Still, with the next week's rain, muddy conditions should be expected on site as it will take a while to dry out.
Previously, festival-goers hopes were dashed after Accuweather predicted a weekend of rain and middling temperatures.

Last week, Glasto boss Michael Eavis encouraged festival goers to drink less at the festival after an email was sent to ticket holders about bringing alcohol to the site.
This year’s Glastonbury is to be streamed live for the first time and viewers able to watch different stages. The BBC will use the latest digital technology to allow viewers to pick between simultaneous live streams.
