Jake Bugg has revealed it will feel 'strange' performing on Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage at the Worthy Farm event next weekend, two years after playing on one of the smallest stages at the festival.
Bugg will perform on the main stage at Glastonbury 2013, performing on the Friday, ahead of The Vaccines, Dizzee Rascal and headliners Arctic Monkeys. He finds himself sandwiched between Haim and Rita Ora in a 2pm slot on the first day of the biggest UK festival of 2013. However, he claims he will find the performance 'strange', just two years after making his Glasto debut.
"I played it two years ago on the BBC Introducing stage so it will be a bit strange going from the smallest stage to the biggest," he tells Gigwise. "Bit weird, but I'm looking forward to it."
Bugg also spoke up for the perceived corporate nature of Glastonbury, which Richard Hawley recently spoke out against in an interview with Gigwise recently.
"They've got to earn the money somehow, they've gotta find some way of keeping it going," Bugg says. "I know it helped me alot despite whether it's corporate or not.
"You're gonna get that corporate stuff anyway," he adds, thanking his 2011 Worthy Farm performance for launching his career. "I think Glastonbury really helped to build the momentum around the first record and it did much better than I thought it was going to do."

Bugg also discussed work on the follow-up to his self-titled debut album, saying he wanted to better the sounds heard on his first release.
"I want to keep those edgy, upbeat songs but also I want to keep the acoustic side of what I do, the softer side, which will hopefully complement the more upbeat songs," he says. "I just want to do the same thing, but even better."
