Australian duo Empire of the Sun have signed up to score 'Dumb and Dumber To' sequel.
Empire of the Sun are known for their dramatic and theatrical nature, so scoring a film doesn't seem out of the ordinary for the electronic duo - even if Dumb & Dumber does seem an odd choice. The band have just released their second album, Ice on the Dune, earlier this week.
Universal Pictures and Red Granite recently picked up the film after it was dropped by Warner Bros earlier this month. The Farrelly Brothers' are still directing the sequel and it was the directors that announced Empire of the Sun's involvement on twitter.

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are reprising their roles from the original 1994 comedy. The story will centre around a road trip in search of the illegitimate daughter of Harry Dunne (Daniels), whom he needs for a kidney transplant.
