Hard rock veterans Motorhead have been forced to cancel shows in Europe due to the ill health of frontman and bassist Lemmy.
The new of Lemmy Kilmister's haematoma was revealed by Barley Arts - the promoters of their gig in Milan.
"It is with great regret we inform you that, after cancelling the date of 22 June in Austria, that Motorhead are also forced to cancel the date of 25 June in Milan for the same reason," they said. "The health problems of Lemmy, caused by a strong hematoma which makes it impossible at present to go on stage."
A haematoma is a a localised collection of blood outside the blood vessels, characterised by internal bleeding is generally considered to be a spreading of blood within the abdomen or skull, not within muscle. The size of Lemmy's haematoma and his current condition are currently unknown.
