Liam Gallagher's Beady Eye are apparently set to play a surprise show at Glastonbury, according to tabloid reports.

Despite Liam Gallagher maintaining he would never return to the festival, The Sun are claiming the band are going to play a midday set, but won't give away the day and stage.

Gallagher has a known dislike for the festival, describing it as: "Bond Street with mud, with loads of celebrities walking around in their boots and umbrellas. I'm not having it."

However, apparently the Manchester band are are going to be putting in a secret performance. This is yet to be officially confirmed by the band or festival organisers.

Beady Eye aren't the only ones to be playing a secret set, apparently the French robotic duo Daft Punk are the bookies favourites for a surprise show.

Even if you're not at the festival, you too may be able to catch Beady Eye's, or Daft Punk's, secret set with extensive coverage by the BBC for this year's event.
