Exit Calm have released the video to their new single 'Fiction' exclusively via Gigwise. Check it out below.

The Sheffield rockers have stayed relatively quiet for the past few years - until now. Their new album, The Future Isn't What It Used To Be, is out in September and 'Fiction' is a nostalgic, angst-ridden rock track.

Exit Calm embody the late 90s Northern sound with an updated image; gone are the parkas and here to stay are the suits and sharp leather jackets. This is apparent in their music too, lead singer Nicky's voice is true of their industrial city-roots but their sound is contemporary with a smart edge.

Guitar music and 90s britpop has made a comeback of later, with bands like Beady Eye making their way back into the top 40. With this in mind, we welcome back Exit Calm with open arms.
