Rick Rubin, the producer who worked on Kanye West's latest album Yeezus, has revealed West may release the tracks that didn't make the cut for the LP as a second edition.

Talking to The Daily Beast, Rubin talked about how he advised West to make two albums because he came to Rubin with so much material.

"Before he even asked me to work on it, I said, 'Maybe you should make it more concise. Maybe this is two albums. Maybe this is just the first half."

When asked if that means a second half to Yeezus was in the works, Rubin coyly replied: "Maybe".

The producer also talked about the stress of trying to finish Yeezus on time, as there were reports that the album still wasn't finished two weeks before release.

Rubin recalled how he felt making the album, saying: "To me it seemed impossible what he was asking. I remember I wasn't feeling that well that day, and I was thinking, 'Is the music making me sick? I don't feel good about this. We ended up working probably 15 days, 16 days, long hours, no days off, 15 hours a day. I was panicked the whole time."

Despite mixed reviews, West has triumphed again with Yeezus scoring the third-highest opening week sales of 2013 and also hitting No.1 in the US and UK.
