Haim star Este Haim was forced to sit out a part of her Glastonbury performance today (28 June, 2013), after struggling with diabetes during the band's Friday set.
The US pop stars, who are performing twice this weekend, were said to have expressed 'concern' for Este as she sat down during the set, while the crowd chanted her name as encouragement to continue performing.
"Sometimes diabetes gets the better of you," said the unwell singer, before soldiering on with the performance.
"I'm not going to let this get the better of me, especially when there are so many beautiful people here. If I pass out, will someone give me mouth to mouth?"
Before she was overcome on the stage, she had described Friday of Glastonbury as 'the best day of my life'.

Earlier on the Friday of Glastonbury, Beady Eye performed a surprise set on The Park Stage, opening the first day of the festival's 'official' music programming.
Liam Gallagher and co performed an 11am slot, with Gallagher saying it was never too early 'for a bit of rock and roll.'
