Bastille have revealed that their fans have been giving them a variety of gifts - from the 'lovely' to the 'creepy'.

Speaking to Gigwise backstage at Glastonbury, frontman Dan Smith said that he and the band had been 'touched' by a lot of the presents that they had received - including a guitar which they hope to use on their next 'heavier' album

"To be given anything and not be worthy of it feels nice," he said. "I mean when it's not your birthday or anything, it's really nice. I got given some Twin Peaks t-shirts and a Twin Peaks High School jumper which were thrown on stage. That's creepy in a nice way, because you think 'how do they know me so well?'"

He continued: "We got a really nice package the other day of some cat badges and a DVD of the movie Aeroplane. That's amazing. It doesn't get better than that."

Drummer Chris 'Woody' Wood added: " It's all been quite nice. We got a lot of artwork which is always quite flattering."

The band also spoke about how playing with Muse on their recent European Stadium tour made them feel 'rubbish at music'.

"Those gigs were something that we never thought we'd do so we just went along to enjoy it, and Muse are really good guys," said Dan. "It was a really interesting line-up and the crowds were great but when you're playing with Muse it puts it all into perspective - everyone was there to see them do what they do best. We were at the bottom of the bill, which is where we completely belong to be but it was fun. We were constantly looking around thinking 'this is mental'."

Bastille play a string of festival dates this summer before a full UK tour in October and November. For more information visit Gigwise gig tickets
