Mariah Carey is said to be recovering from 'serious' injuries following an accident on the set of her latest video shoot at the weekend.
On Sunday 7 July, Carey was rushed to New York's Hospital for Special Surgery to have her shoulder reset after a nasty spill on the set for a new promo clip for '#Beautiful'.
Now, appearing on CNN's Today Show, her husband Nick Cannon has spoken of her ordeak - calling her a 'trooper' for dealing with the pain of her injuries.
"I was going to rush to the hospital with her, (but she said,) 'You get back in there and finish that video!'," said Cannon. "Then, after they put (her) shoulder back in place, bandaged her all up, she came back to the video early in the morning and finished out everything."
He continued: "She was in this nice, beautiful gown, heels on and everything, and was kind of on this platform and reached and slipped and fell on her whole side." he said.
Speaking of the extent of the 'Fantasy' singer's injuries, Cannon said: "It was pretty serious. Not only did she dislocate her shoulder, she actually cracked a rib and chipped her shoulder bone."

Carey is still rumoured to be performing at all scheduled live dates, as she contnues to promote her new album, The Art of Letting Go, which is scheduled for release this year.
