Tame Impala found themselves at the top of a lot of 2012 end-of-year lists with their critically adored second album, Lonerism. Quite rightly so.
The Australian band found fans the world over with their genre-defying sound, blending pop, rock and sixties psychedelia and confounding anyone who even attempted to describe what they were listening to - much to the band's delight.
