Jay-Z apparently has no intention of calling an end to his feud with actor Robert De Niro after he confirmed that the two had fallen out, allegedly at Leonardo DiCaprio’s birthday party last year.
The rapper and actor are rumoured to have fallen out at DiCaprio’s 38th birthday party last year when De Niro approached Jay-Z and chastised him for not returning his calls about a project he wanted him to be involved with.
Speaking with New York radio station Power 105.1 recently Jay-Z confirmed that he and the actor don’t see eye to eye and said: “I treat people based on who they are... who they really are. Not the name, not Robert De Niro, like, you know, who you are as a person.”
He continued: “It doesn’t matter who you are, everyone has to be respectful and everyone has to be a human being. No one is above. That’s just the end of it and that’s how I carry it with anybody.”

Jay-Z is potentially on course for his first No. 1 album with Magna Carta Holy Grail, with the album easily outselling its closest rival, Michael Buble’s To Be Loved. It will be Jay-Z ‘s eighth top 40 record, and looks like topping his previous highest effort, his 2011 collaborative album with Kanye West, Watch The Throne, which hit No. 3.
The album’s release last week saw demand for Wireless tickets rise by 163% with Jay-Z schedule to perform both by himself and alongside Justin Timberlake at the London festival this weekend.
