Robbie Williams might be feeling slighty snubbed after Dizzee Rascal admitted that he asked Example to appear on ‘Goin’ Crazy’ first.
Example apparently recorded a vocal take for the track but decided it wasn’t right and pulled out, leaving the way clear for Robbie to take his place.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1xtra Dizzee said: “Let me let you in on something I haven’t told no one anyway, I actually gave that to Example first.
“He did it and then he didn’t think it was right, so respect to him, he said nah it’s not right let’s leave it.”
The track with Williams peaked at No. 5 in the UK singles chart in June.
But the rapper also revealed it’s not the first time he and Example have been involved with a swap like this. During the same interview the rapper revealed that he’d originally recorded vocals for Calvin Harris’s ‘We’ll Be Coming Back’, but Example ended up on the final version of the track which reach No. 2 in the UK charts last year.
“There’s a track that Example did with Calvin Harris, I had that before Example, same thing, it didn’t sound right with me on that. That’s just the way things go, you know what I mean?” he explained.

Dizzee recently revealed the follow-up to ‘Goin’ Crazy’ in the form of ‘I Don’t Need A Reason’, the second single taken from the rapper’s forthcoming album The Fifth.
The new album is due later this summer and features collaborations from Jessie J, Tinie Tempah, will.i.am and Sean Kingston.
