David Bowie has announced that he will premiere a brand new video for his latest single 'Valentine's Day' today.
Bowie made the announcement on his official Facebook page and website in a post that has since been removed.
The message read: "It's happening today. It gives us much pleasure to be able to announce the release of the new video for David Bowies upcoming 'Valentines Day' single.
"Directed by Indrani and Marcus Klinko, who previously collaborated with Bowie on the artwork for the 'HEATHEN' album, 'VALENTINE'S DAY' is the new visual from David Bowie's latest album 'THE NEXT DAY'."
The video will be posted online at 2.30pm ET (7.30pm UK GMT).
The track will be released as a 7" picture disc on 19 August in the UK and 20 August in the U.S.), backed by the b-side of instrumental track 'Plan'. The record will come in a plastic sleeve "overprinted with a white square so that the disc shows through the transparent lettering." See the artwork below.
Amid the rumours of him making a secret surprise appearance at Glastonbury Festival, David Bowie's guitarist Earl Slick recently came out to say that the star had 'no plans to tour in 2013'.
