Psychedelic Rockers The Flaming Lips have released a new video for the song 'Turning Violent'. Watch the clip below.
The brooding, bubbling synths lead us in to the video in which not a lot happens but what does happen is alarmingly unsettling. The video quality is incredibly grainy adding to the far away waking nightmare of the video/audio combination. Then band play in a blank, featureless room to a crowd writhing on the floor in front of them.
When the song suddenly explodes, so to does the video. The band are bathed in flashing multicoloured lights. The result is a thoroughly unnerving viewing experience.
