Despite hitting the No.1 spot on the US Billboard 200 with his 2013 album Yeezus, Kanye West has been outsold by J Cole's Born Sinner in America.
Born Sinner has this week climbed to No.1 in America, selling 58,000 in its third week on release. The album's sales have a three-week total of 439,000 - topping the 431,000 moved by Yeezus.
Born Sinner Follows Cole's 2009 debut Cole World: The Sideline Story which sold 218,000 in it's first week to take the top spot. This marks his second chart-topping album.
Born Sinner's spot at No.1 continues rap's chokehold on the top of the Billboard 200, with the genre taking its third week at the top and holding down the top three spots in the chart. Wale's The Gifted drops to number 2 with 50,000 sold in its second week, while Yeezus moves 39,000 for number 3.

Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail is expect to debut at the top of the heap this week however. Current sales forecasts the album number in the 450-500,000 range, which would make it the second-highest debut of 2013, behind Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience, which sold just short of 1 million copies in its first week on release.
