The son of late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, Jason, has discussed a desire to perform alongside a hologram of his father.
Jason Bonham played with the legendary rock band at their last official concert in 2007, filling in on drumming duties for his late father. He is now on tour with tribute act The Led Zeppelin Experience.
Speaking to Legendary Rock Interviews, Jason said: "I'm talking to people about holograms and my dream is to do the hologram drum solo with dad next to me."
He has previously appeared on stage alongside a blown up image of his father displayed on the on stage screen, but this will take the concept to new heights.
However, Jason admits that it will be tricky to obtain good quality footage to use as: "These guys were operating in the 1970s and it’s not at all like it is today where everybody can record everything with a phone or digital camera"

Jason has been drumming for many years, playing in bands and touring since he left school at 16. He maintains an enthusiasm for the work of Led Zeppelin, and talks fondly of his father who died when Jason was just 14. He continued: "My father pretty much gave me every thing he could possibly give me in life but looking back, the things that I valued more, were his time."
He mentions that he wants to push things further than just playing Led Zeppelin songs adding: "I wanted to create a complete experience of what Led Zeppelin means to me, growing up around them and being part of it all my life."
