Yuck have released a new single 'Rebirth' - first song to be revealed from the new album and features guitarist Max Bloom on vocals. Listen to the track below. 

Earlier in the year, the band announced that singer Daniel Blumberg would be leaving the band, but also that they would continue as a trio and record a second album.

The song marks a significant departure in style from their debut, which was full of buzzing, gritty guitars and had a lively and energetic feel. 'Rebirth' offers a more sludgey, grunge-light sound with far away vocals and a slow, trudging melody. There is little aggression to the song but it shows the band moving forward and has an immersive, dreamy sound to it.

Yuck's second album will be released at some point this year. Although nothing official has been announced, the band stated: "New music, new tour dates, and bigger afros will be coming very soon. So get ready. GET. READY."
