Bloc Party are now on hiatus after agreeing to take a break once they had headlined this year's Latitude Festival. However, they've been quick to reassure fans that they will return by claiming, 'there is no end point to this band.'
The British quartet played to around 30,000 people at the Suffolk festival and lead singer Kele Okereke admitted to having an 'emotional moment' as he looked out into the crowd.
Speaking of their Latitude performance, bassist Gordon Moakes told NME: "I don't think any of us can really predict the future but we feel like we're more or less firing on all cylinders.
"It's been a long journey to get here. To see people are still with us.... There's still a crowd who want to see us play. It's a nice feeling, to go out after a year of touring."

The Bloc Party guitarist also was also quick to inform fans that this wouldn't be the last they heard from the indie group.
He added: "There's no end point with this band. Ultimately we just love to make music - any excuse to do that is what sustains the band."
Although the four-piece won't be playing live for a while, fans can look forward to a five track EP titled Nextwave Sessions which is set for release on 12 August, 2013.
"We sort of squeezed it in," said Moakes of the band's new EP. "Everything came from live ideas. It was all done in London but on days off between tours."
