Razorlight front man Johnny Borrell released his debut solo album 'Borrell 1' last week, but despite positive reviews, only sold 594 copies on it's first week of release.
The figure is not particularly encouraging and means Borrell has failed to enter the top 100 artist album chart.
Currently at No.1 in the artists album chart is X Factor contender Jahmene Douglas whose debut of cover songs Love never Fails has sold 19,000 copies. '
Now That's What I Call Music 85 has shot straight to the top of the compilation album chart and has become the fastest selling album of the year with 317, 000 copies sold in its first week of release. Daft Punk's Random Access Memories remains the fastest selling artist album of 2013, shifting 165,000 in the week of its release.
