The opening day of the Drake-curated Ovo festival has been axed due to Frank Ocean's vocal cord injury.
Ocean was due to perform on the festival's first day, but the 'Pyramids' singer has been recently forced to cancel his Australian tour after tearing his vocal cord.
Frank Ocean and James Blake were scheduled to perform at the Toronto festival on 4 August 2013, but Ocean's performance has been cancelled completely and James Blake has been pushed back to 5 August, when he will perform alongside Drake himself.

Frank Ocean pulled out of his Australian tour after experiencing throat problems during the opening show in Melbourne on Thursday night (25 July, 2013).
Reports claim Ocean told the crowd: "I'm sick...I don't know if you care," during a rendition of 'Forrest Gump'. It was later diagnosed as a 'small tear' to one of his vocal chords.
All remaining dates have now been cancelled after Frank Ocean recieved the medical advice to rest his voice. In a statement from his tour promoter Live Nation, it announced that the dates would not be rescheduled, but he will return to Australia at some point in the future.
