Manchester five-piece Swiss Lips have apologised to fans for the delay in releasing their debut album, revealing they 'signed their lives away' and have no influence on when it will be available.
The band, who signed a four-album deal with Epic Sony in late 2011, were hotly tipped for success in 2013, but after the release of one single, the brilliant 'U Got The Power', all seems to have gone quiet for the band. Swiss Lips have now addressed the issue on their Facebook page, hinting at behind the scenes problems with their album release.
"For all of you waiting on our album, we're trying our best to get it out as soon as possible," the band told fans.
"Unfortunately when it is released isn't up to us as we signed our lives away. BUT, it'll happen soon."

The band also revealed that they were in the process of writing a collection of new songs - which we are likely to hear before the planned debut.
"We're writing another so we can release loads of music next year," they add. "Come and see us play, got a really exciting tour to tell you about soon! Thanks for your support."
