Dance producer Deadmau5 has hit out at Justin Bieber, claiming the Canadian pop superstar ruined his chances of appearing on the BBC's Top Gear, his favourite TV show.
Bieber and Deadmau5 were recently pictured together at the producer's own festival, Veld, and Deadmau5 (Joel Zimmerman) subsequently 'trolled' the teenager's fans on Twitter about the meeting. However, such was the reaction online to the pair's meeting that it overshadowed Deadmau5's personal Twitter campaign to secure a guest spot on Top Gear.
"Which got fucking buried thanks to that little prick," Deadmau5 tells The Huffington Post. "Like you little fuck. I can't believe it. I was so fucking stoked that whole day and then he just shows up and, I shit you not, I didn't think about anything else other than 'You just fucking ruined every chance I ever had of getting on fucking 'Top Gear.' So that's that."

Deadmau5's love for the Jeremy Clarkson motoring show stems from when one of his tracks, 'Subliminal' was used on a recent episode, and the producer hoped for a spot on the Star In A Reasonably Priced Car segment.
"Everyone was like, 'Dude, get on BBC Top Gear'’ And I'm like, oh man, this is awesome," Zimmerman continued. "Everyone's tweeting about and tweeting about it. And I was like 'I'd love to be on Top Gear!' and I would. That would be amazing. And then Justin shows up and then that tweet just got buried."
He still hopes to secure a spot on the show, however, but adds his competitive streak means he is desperate to put in a good time on the Top Gear track.
"I'd love to go rally around with those guys, but I've gotta take some lessons first," he adds. "Because I honestly want to get the best lap time."
