Ben Gibbard has announced the split of The Postal Service - calling time on the band's reunion after their final show at Lollapalooza this weekend.
The electro-pop heroes have been touring after reuniting to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their seminal cult-classic, Give Up.
However, despite hopes for more shows and more some new material, singer and Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard took to Twitter to announce the end of the band:
Hey Chicago, these @PostalService shows at Lollapalooza and Metro will be our very last. Please come celebrate with us!
