Arcade Fire's forthcoming fourth album is believed to be called Reflektor, as suggested by a worldwide guerilla graffiti campaign.

With little known at all about the Montreal indie-rockers' highly antipicated new material other than the release date, the frenzy surrounding their fourth studio album has been put into overdrive following the mysterious marketing campaign which has recently surfaced online. The LP is the follow-up to their award winning 2010 album, The Suburbs. The band have remained very quiet in recent months, only revealing that their fourth studio release would be dropped on October 29, via a reply on twitter to a random fan.

However, since that announcement, a marketing campaign promoting the name 'Reflektor' has emerged online. The same pieces of graffiti have popped up across different cities and it is now rumoured to be the work of Arcade Fire. Examples of the mysterious wall art are being documented on an Instagram account.

The graffiti is a very distinctinve circle containing a diamond and the world Reflektor. Graffiti artists have allegedly confirmed that it involves Arcade Fire, after video footage of the graffiti was played during sets at Lollapalooza in Chicago this weekend.

The album will be released on 29 October and will include material produced by former LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy.
