Kanye West has been confirmed to perform for the seventh time at this year's MTV VMAs alongside Lady Gaga, at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York on 25th August.
The three-time VMA award-winner is set to perform 'Black Skinhead' from his new album Yeezus, and with his performance is set to make MTV history as he equals Madonna's record of seven for the most appearances at the VMAs.
Also set to perform alongside Yeezy is Lady Gaga, making one of her first public appearances since surgery to repair her hip in February which left her temporarily wheelchair-bound. She is tipped to be performing new single 'Applause' from her highly anticipated new album ARTPOP, which is due for release on 19th August.

Both artists have had iconic MTV VMA careers, both on and off the stage, with Gaga's infamous 'meat dress' in 2010 and Kanye's equally legendary interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech in 2009. Whatever they have in store, it's certain their performances this year will be ones to watch.
