Drake has unveiled his new track 'Hold On, We're Going Home' on US radio earlier today - and it is notably different from his previous material. Listen below.
'Hold On, We're Going Home' shows Drake working in a drastically different style, the track comes as a melodic and soulful pop beat with 80s synths tantalisingly working in the bankground. Not only that, but the track features no rapping from traditionally moody and dark artist, instead it has opted purely for tuneful vocals, enhanced by the Canadian singer Majid.
This new material will be part of Drake's upcoming third studio album Nothing Was The Same, which is due for release September 16. It indicates that this record could be very different from anything we've heard before from the Canadian rapper.
