Lady Gaga has told her fans it is 'not acceptable' to listen to her new album, ARTPOP via computer speakers and has recommended we all use headphones to listen to the 'electronic candy'.

The pop icon's eagerly awaited third studio album is set to be released on November 11 and Gaga has taken to Twitter to recommend exactly how we listen to it.

She wrote: "Oh, & just a suggestion... use HEADPHONES when listening to the new music, ARTPOP is ELECTRONIC CANDY & DELISH ON THE EARS.

"THE SPEAKERS ON YOUR COMPUTER are NOT ACCEPTABLE, unless you like hearing music underwater. I do not.

"The album ARTPOP was produced by the amazing----> @DJWS @ZEDD @MADEON + @LADYGAGA. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE US CRY AND LISTEN WITHOUT HEADPHONES."

So far, Gaga's ARTPOP promotion campaign has seen included naked yoga, false arms and inadvertent song leaks which saw the star ask for fans not to listen to any leaked tracks.

Speaking to fans on her Little Monsters website, Gaga asked fans to remove leaked track ‘Aura/Burqa’ from anywhere they may have posted it.

When asked by fans what she thought of the leak, she replied simply: "Please take these down as much as possible."
